What Is NHT Global?

NHT Global was first started in 2001 by its founder Terry Lacour. Subsequently, NHT Global became known as Lexus International.

NHT Global operates as a subsidiary of National Health Trends Corp. and, to no surprise, finds a home in the traces of personal care, health and nutrition.

President Chris Sharg is currently heading NHT Global, which has his corporate bio on the National Health Trends website:

"Mr. Sharing was appointed as the chairman of NHTC in February 2007.

He previously served as Executive Vice President and CFO of NHTC from August 2004 to February 2007 and during that time he also served as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to NHTC, Mr. Sharing served as CFO at Northpol Ltd., Senior Vice President and CFO at Ultrac Inc. and Mattel, Inc. Held management positions as Vice President of International Finance. "

Based on the information I was able to dig into, it appears that NHT Global is the first MLM opportunity that has been part of Sharang.

Going back to 2006, the SEC began investigating NHT Global when it was still operating under the name Lexus International.

The SEC did not actually take any action against the company, but it did issue a file of security fraud against the company's founder, Terry Lahore. Subsequently, then-President Mark Woodburn was replaced with someone else.

An audit investigation was then issued on Lexxus International and after that, both LaCore and Woodburn decided to leave the company.

Once this uproar died, Lexus International made its rebrand for NHT Global.

Under the new NHT Global name, the company filed a lawsuit against LaCore stating that he was guilty -

"Unlawful acts, including employee raids, theft of confidential information and trade secrets, torture interference and unfair competition."

Despite these overwhelming claims, NHT Global eventually stopped paying the lawyers it hired and the suit was dropped.

Fast forward to a few years of 2016, and this is when NHT Global overcame the lawsuits of Wang Xuan and Man Da - the company's two shareholders. The lawsuit was filed as a result of NHT Global infringing securities laws in the US:

"Statement relating to NHTC's business in China and compliance with Chinese laws between March 6, 2015 and March 15, 2016.

Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants made inaccurate and / or misleading statements and / or failed to disclose:

(1) The operation of the Chinese unit of natural health trends is not in compliance with applicable Chinese laws; And

(2) As a result, the defendants' statements about the business, operations and prospects of natural health trends were false and misleading and / or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. "

A little later in July of 2017, NHT Global decided that it would settle the $ 1.75 million lawsuit.
